– The ninth-ranked Oklahoma State women's tennis team will face another tough test this Wednesday as it heads west to take on No. 8 UCLA in Los Angeles, Calif. The match is set for 3:30 p.m. at the Los Angeles Tennis Center.

Notable Streaks and Trends
- The Cowgirls have spent 67 consecutive weeks in the ITA top 25. The last time OSU was outside the top 25 was March 18, 2014.
- The Cowgirls have won 20 or more matches in each of the last three seasons.
- Since 2012, OSU has made six-straight NCAA Tournament appearances. That streak is the second-longest in program history behind a 10-year streak that saw the Cowgirls earn NCAA Tournament berths from 1982-91.

The Series: UCLA
- Wednesday's matchup with the Bruins will be the third meeting in the two schools' histories, with both previous matchups being contested in Los Angeles.
- The last meeting between the two programs was in 2013, when the Pokes and Bruins faced off in the second round of the NCAA Tournament in Los Angeles. UCLA won, 4-0.
- The only other meeting between the teams came in 1987; a matchup that UCLA won, 7-2.
- Chris Young is 0-1 against UCLA during his time at Oklahoma State.
 
Last Time Out
The 12th-ranked Oklahoma State women's tennis team shut out Pacific, 4-0, on Sunday afternoon at the Greenwood Tennis Center to pick up its fourth consecutive victory.
 
The Cowgirls (8-1) wrapped up the match in just over an hour and a half, taking the doubles point and first sets on all six singles courts before closing out the Tigers thanks to straight-set wins from Megan McCray, Katie Stresnakova and Sofia Blanco.

Bruins from a Distance
UCLA enters Wednesday's matchup with the Cowgirls at 9-3 overall and 1-1 in Pac-12 play.
 
The Bruins are coming off their conference-opening weekend in which they split a pair of matches, dropping a 4-3 match at No. 14 Stanford and recording a 4-3 win over No. 22 California. Other notable wins for UCLA include a 4-1 tally over No. 11 South Carolina, while the Bruins have also dropped matches to No. 6 Texas Tech and No. 13 Ole Miss.
 
Five Bruins are ranked in the latest ITA singles poll, including No. 8 Ena Shibahara, No. 41 Jada Hart and No. 46 Abi Altick who are all in the top-50. Hart and Shibahara lead four ranked UCLA doubles teams, coming in at No. 8.
 
Head coach Stella Sampras Webster is in her 22nd year at the helm of the UCLA women's tennis program.
 
Babic's Record Watch
- With 98 doubles wins to her credit, senior Vladica Babic has a chance this season to become the eighth player in school history to reach 100 doubles wins for her career.
- She currently sits in eighth on the all-time doubles wins list and second in the Big 12 era--just five wins behind Linda Faltynkova.
- With 85 career singles wins, she currently sits in fourth in the Big 12 era record book in that category.
 
Streaking Stresnakova
Cowgirl junior Katarina Stresnakova has opened the 2018 dual season off hot, winning each of her first eight matches in straight sets. Dating back to Jan. 14, she has won 17 consecutive sets. Additionally, she has won 22 of her last 24 dual matches dating back to January of last season.
